This exclusive map album was compiled in remembrance of the centenary of the Treaty of Trianon, and presents eight decades of the Hungarian history. In addition to thematic studies, maps – designed and made by the former cartography department of the statistical office – represent the backbone of the publication. The volume, which contains several unpublished maps and supplemented by scientific studies, looks back to the period before and after Trianon, based on the point of view of statistics. The album is divided into thirteen chapters, and illustrates the changes took place in the fields of public administration, demography, economy, transport and tourism, among others.
